Branding and Social Media Strategy
Spyrosoft, an FT 1000 IT startup, needed to boost its UK and eventually global presence and enhance its social media footprint, which was crucial for its rapid growth phase. The goal was to create a strong expert and employer brand to make Spyrosoft the go-to IT partner and an attractive employer within the IT sector.
Despite producing high-quality technical content, Spyrosoft, renowned for its substantial in-house expertise, encountered challenges in effectively promoting its deep technical knowledge and successful project outcomes.
The Strategy
I devised a comprehensive digital marketing strategy focused on leveraging SEO-optimised blogs, case studies, and real-life success stories produced by Spyrosoft's experts. These were strategically distributed through social media channels and targeted email marketing campaigns, enhancing the brand's visibility and engagement.
At the same time, tailored PPC campaigns were launched to promote specific verticals and services, along with remarketing strategies to re-engage website visitors. A pivotal part of the strategy involved an employee advocacy system and a LinkedIn employer branding strategy, significantly enhancing Spyrosoft's organic reach and supplemented by strategic paid campaigns.
The impact
This approach attracted new clients by showcasing tangible results and positioned Spyrosoft as a premier employer in the IT sector, attracting exceptional talent. Spyrosoft at that time grew from 200 to 1000 employees and won over big Geospatial, eCommerce and Automotive projects.
By optimising PPC campaigns, I achieved an increase in sales-qualified leads by 5-15%. I also developed a robust content strategy that drove effective email marketing campaigns, which together with SEO best practices, led to a 56% reduction in bounce rates and a 120% increase in domain authority.
Furthermore, the social media strategy increased LinkedIn and Instagram followers to over 18k in just 9 months, achieving a 37% post engagement rate and maintaining an overall company page engagement rate of 5%.
